The PFL on Saturday moves into uncharted territory, as undefeated former Bellator MMA champion Johnny Eblen faces Costello van Steenis for the inaugural PFL Champions Series middleweight title in the five-round main event. Meanwhile, burgeoning American Top Team star Dakota Ditcheva puts her perfect 14-0 record on the line against Sumiko Inaba in the three-round women’s flyweight co-headliner at 125 pounds.

Eblen has won all 16 of his bouts as a pro. The 33-year-old Des Moines, Iowa, native last suited up at PFL Super Fights “Battle of the Giants,” where he laid claim to a five-round unanimous decision over Fabian Edwards on Oct. 19. On the other side of the equation, van Steenis steps back into the spotlight on the strength of back-to-back victories. The Dutch kickboxer last saw action on Nov. 29, when he needed just 48 seconds to cut down Joao Dantas with a head kick at the 2024 PFL Championships.

The rest of the 2025 PFL Africa 1 main card, which kicks off at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT, sees A.J. McKee take on Akhmed Magomedov at featherweight, Makkasharip Zaynukov square off with Takeshi Izumi at lightweight and Corey Anderson do battle against Denis Goltsov at heavyweight.
